This month, raspberries are currently in season all across the United States. Thus, you may want to consider working them into your summer promotional campaign. Of course one of the best ways to do that is to serve cocktails made with Taste of Florida’s real juice mixers. We also happen to have a few ideas to help you get started.
Wild Blue Bluetini
Is your venue located near a beach, lake or pool? If so, consider serving Wild Blue Bluetinis in frosted martini glasses. They are sure to cause a stir. Each one is traditionally made with Taste of Florida’s Blue Curacao and Raspberry Puree. They are added to white cranberry juice and blueberry vodka then garnished with frosted raspberries. When complete, it will look like a glass full of blue nirvana. Exact mixing directions and measurements may be found within the Taste of Florida’s recipe database. Consider serving the drinks with fresh ceviche made with shrimp, diced red snapper, raspberries and avocados.
Raspberry margaritas would also make a wonderful addition to a summer promotional calendar. We’d suggest making them with Taste of Florida’s Margarita Mix and Raspberry real juice mixer. You can find a great recipe for the raspberry margarita’s here. They would work well paired with Spanish dishes that include raspberries. Examples include zurracapote drizzled over sponge cake, brazo gitano and fried foods served with a raspberry chipotle dipping sauce.
Another delightful cocktail to consider serving at your next promotional event is a raspberry bramble. It’s made with gin, fresh raspberries and Taste of Florida real juice mixers. The real juice mixers that you’ll need to whip up a batch are Taste of Florida Raspberry Puree and Sweet & Sour. A complete raspberry bramble recipe is posted here. Contemplate serving the cocktails alongside raspberry hors d’oeuvres. Ones to consider are raspberry and cheese en croute and raspberry habanero on flatbread.
