Use Real Juice Mixers for Holiday Variety

Every good party has a few good drinks, right?  Well, let’s turn those “good drinks” into great drinks with Real Juice Mixers from Taste of Florida.  Better yet, take that real flavor and create a unique variety of drinks perfectly themed for your holiday get-together.  Here are a few recipes pulled from our website’s recipe collection you can use to use to wow your guests.

Spiced Apple Pie Just like Granny’s but a lot more fun.

  • 1¼ oz. Crown Royal
  • ½ oz. Taste of Florida Green Apple Mixer
  • ½ oz. Taste of Florida Pina Colada
  • 3 oz. Cranberry Juice

Place all ingredients in shaker tin, shake and strain into desired glass.

Mexicali Mary  To heat up that cold night.

  • 1½ oz. Vodka
  • 1 oz. Finest Call Mango Puree
  • Fine chop fresh cilantro 1/8 tsp.
  • Fill with Taste of Florida Bloody Mary Mixer

Place fine chopped cilantro in a mixing tin with other ingredients and shake vigorously. Pour into glass filled with ice. For a twist use TOF Spicy Bloody Mary for more of a kick. Garnish with a lime wedge, celery stalk and mango slice.

Red Velvet Cake  For dessert, of course!

  • 2½ oz. cake vodka
  • ½ oz. Taste of Florida Grenadine syrup
  • ½ oz. Taste of Florida Pina Colada Mix
  • Splash of soda water

In a shaker tin with ice combine cake vodka, Taste of Florida Grenadine, Taste of Florida Pina Colada mix and a splash of soda water. Strain in to a cocktail glass.

Honey Pot  Classy and delicious.

  • ½ oz. Taste of Florida Lime Juice
  • 1 Tsp. honey
  • 2 oz. gold rum
  • 5 oz. champagne

Add rum, lime juice and honey to a shaker with ice. Shake and pour into Collins glass. Top with champagne.

So roll up your sleeves, bartender and get your party started.  It’s sure to be a hit with these festive recipes.  And as an added bonus, consumption of these beverages may make it a wee bit easier to handle those lovely in-laws.
