Spain is known for many things, including the running of the bulls. Now, Americans are hoping to continue the tradition with their own event called The Great Bull Run. It is a cross-country event that is scheduled to take place August 24th, 2013 through July 12th, 2014. A Tomato Royale will be part of each stop. In light of that fact, we thought that we would share a few of our Taste of Florida Bloody Mary drink ideas. Here they are:

Mango Mary

• 1 ½ oz. Vodka
• Taste of Florida Bloody Spicy Bloody Mary
• 1/2 oz. Taste of Florida Mango Puree

Build over ice and garnish with a lime wedge, celery stalk and mango slice.  Appetizers that pair well with the Mango Mary are chorizo sausage wrapped in puffed pastry and assorted cheeses from Spain.

Taste of Florida Michilata

• 1.5 oz. reposado tequila
• 4 oz. Taste of Florida Spicy Bloody Mary
• Fill with Tecáte Mexican Beer

Build in salt-rimmed glass, filled with ice. Stir gently. Garnish with a lime wedge. Serve the drinks alongside of a Spanish tapas bar.
