Celebrate Mango Season with Real Juice Margaritas and More

July 31st, 2013 | News | 0 Comments

With mango season in full swing, there has never been a better time to incorporate them into your summer promotions. One of the easiest ways to do that is with Taste of Florida’s real juice mixers. We offer a mango mixer that may be used to make margaritas and more. Here’s a look at some of the delicious possibilities:

Mango Margarita

If easy breezy is the style that you’re after, our four ingredient mango margarita will surely satisfy. It’s made with our margarita, mango and sour mixes along with 2 ounces of tequila. A complete recipe may be found here. Consider serving it with a mango garnish. To make one, simply slide chunks of fresh mango and mint onto a sugar cane skewer. Then lay the skewer on top of the margarita glass.

Spicy Mango Margarita

Want to give your guests a bit of heat instead? Then our spicy mango margarita may be more in order. It gets its kick from a fresh Jalapeño. We’ve got the full recipe waiting for you right here. For an added visual appeal, grab a lemon and a Jalapeño. Cut the Jalapeño into thin slices. Just make sure that you leave the circle shape intact. Then create a lemon peel strip and weave it through the slices. Afterward, insert a skewer through the center of the garnish and add it to the top of your spicy margarita.

Ginger Mango Soda

Of course there will undoubtedly be some guests that will prefer a non-alcoholic drink. For them, we’d like to suggest that you offer ginger mango sodas. They are made with nothing more than .5 ounces of Taste of Florida Mango and 7 ounces of ginger ale. To make you life easier, you could mix all of the ingredients into a punch bowl or pitcher and let everyone serve themselves. If you do decide to go that route, consider floating thinly sliced ginger and mango ice cubes on top of the drink.
