Did you know September 28 is National Drink Beer Day in America? That’s right, a day when we are encouraged to top off a long day by sitting down to enjoy a good beer. But why not make it more interesting? Try a new spin on one of America’s favorite beverages with one (or all) of these great recipes. Add in a Taste of Florida Mixer and ramp up your celebration.

Beer Margarita

• 5 oz light lager
• 2 oz Taste of Florida Margarita Mix
• 1 oz tequila (optional)
• lime

Combine over ice in a salt-rimmed cocktail glass. Garnish with lime.

 

TOF Michilata

• 1 1/2 oz Reposado tequila
• 4 oz TOF Bloody Mary Mixer
• fill with Tecate Mexican beer

Build in a salt-rimmed glass. Fill with ice and stir gently.

 

Mama Margarita

• 4 oz Busch NA beer
• 2-4 oz TOF Margarita Mix
• salt or sugar (optional)
• lime

Fill pint glass with ice. Pour 1/2 can Busch in and top off with TOF Margarita Mix (2-4 oz). Stir and garnish with lime.

 

Original Beer-ita

• 6 oz beer
• 2 oz TOF Margarita Mix
• lime

Pour beer over ice in a tall cocktail glass. Add mix and stir. Garnish with lime.
